Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to launch in April 2020 but its release date was pushed to September due to the coronavirus outbreak. A few months later it was delayed again until 17th of November. However, it looks like that another Cyberpunk 2077 delay is highly unlikely.

During the company’s investor’s call, the president of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kiciński, stated that Cyberpunk 2077 is preparing for the final certification and it is ready for the release. So yes, we are confirming and, well, actually today we started preparing for the final certification, so we’re very close” Adam said. Final certification is a process in which upcoming games are tested by various quality assurance companies and platform holders such as Sony. Usually, it is the last stage for the title before the official release. Fingers crossed, we really hope that we will be able to take a walk in Night City on November 17th.
