Netflix has announced its collaboration with Ubisoft in order to create some live action and animated adaptation of Assassin’s Creed.
According to the popular streaming platform, there will be multiple adaptations of the franchise with Ubisoft’s employees, Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik, serving as executive producers. We don’t have many details yet, but the post says that we better prepare for live-action, animated, and anime Assassin’s Creed series. These series will probably be set in different historical eras, featuring different protagonists from the franchise.

“We’re excited to partner with Ubisoft and bring to life the rich, multilayered storytelling that Assassin’s Creed is beloved for,” said Netflix original series VP Peter Friedlander, in the announcement. “From its breathtaking historical worlds and massive global appeal as one of the best selling video game franchises of all time, we are committed to carefully crafting epic and thrilling entertainment based on this distinct IP and provide a deeper dive for fans and our members around the world to enjoy.”
Netflix has already begun the production of several Ubisoft’s titles, including Skull & Bones and Beyond Good & Evil .We will update the article as soon as we have more information.
