Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will feature a lot of secrets and easter eggs in the form of hidden quests and cool collectibles.
In the article below, we will present you five of the most interesting secrets that we managed to find in the game. This article does not contain spoilers, only some hints in order to track down a quest or find some cool loot. Without further ado, let’s begin with the top 5.
Assassin’s Lore and COVID reference
As with every title of the franchise, Valhalla allows you to access the Animus in order to dig deep into the history of the Assassin’s Creed. If you check Layla’s laptop you can find tons of lore, as well as, a funny mention of how the COVID affects the Assassin’s Creed universe. You can also speak to Layla’s subordinates in order to discover some cool dialogues about Eivor’s past. Keep in mind that the game will not tell you about this and you will have to leave the Animus on your own.
The Haunted House
If you search the eastern part of Anglia you will find a small creepy house surrounded by a magical aura. Small notes are scattered all over the place, telling the story of a man and his three daughters. If you search carefully you will find a nearly tomb that will contain a cool piece of equipment if you manage to open its “tomb-door”.
May the Light be With You
You can find a small pond behind the longhouse in your settlement. If you walk close to the pond you will be asked to use something in order to alter your settlement a bit. If you have it in your inventory or manage to find it in the future, prepare for some cool lighting effects.
The Stonehenge Mystery
One easy way to find it without cheating is by using a real-life England’s map. Anyway, should you manage to find it, we suggest you to search all the nearby caves. Once you locate the cave, you will need to utilize your platforming skills that you used in previous games of the franchise (for example the church jumps in Assassin’s Creed 2).
Before departing for England, you will notice an endgame area that requires you to be level 280. This area makes it pretty hard to survive, but if you decide to run at the speed of light, you can probably make it. This region is full of strong polar bears that will rip you to shreds if you try to fight them at a lower level. The final destination is the Hordafylke mountains. Of course, you will have to travel to England first in order to levelup and then return back to Norway in order to begin this new quest. Keep in mind that this area is really tough. Seriously.
