Blizzard plans to put an end to the popular multiboxing method in World of Warcraft.
Multiboxing has always been one of the most controversial farming tricks in MMORPGs. With that technique, players are using multiple accounts simultaneously in order to achieve better farming and grinding results. This can be done via a key cloning software that will quickly mirror the keystrokes on the main character to all the other characters.
According to an official post, Blizzard announced that that they plan on clamping down all kinds of multiboxers. “We’ve seen an increasingly negative impact to the game as this software is used to support botting and automated gameplay,” the post says. “The use of input broadcasting software that mirrors keystrokes to multiple WoW game clients will soon be considered an actionable offense. We believe this policy is in the best interests of the game and the community. We strongly advise you to cease using this type of software immediately to maintain uninterrupted access to World of Warcraft,”
You can still use multiple World of Warcraft accounts at the same time, but you can not use third-party softwares in order to achieve multiboxing.
