CD Projekt Red made a Hideo Kojima tribute in their upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077.
Hideo appears as a very cool guy in Cyberpunk style, riding one of the game’s fanciest motorbikes. CD Projekt Red released that photo in a tweet, in order to congratulate him for the release of Death Stranding for PC. In the past, the popular game designer, visited visited CD Projekt’s Red studios and admitted that he is a huge fan of Cyberpunk 2077. In addition, when he visited Tokyo Game Show, he was photographed in one of Cyberpunk’s motorcycles that you can see in the tweet below. This photo appears to be the inspiration for this amazing Cyberpunk art.
From Tokyo to Night City — that's quite a ride…
Congratulations on the PC launch of Death Stranding, Kojima-san and the team!

It is currently unclear if Hideo will appear in the game, but I find it highly likely that our beloved game designer will play a small role as side in-game NPC. There are quite a few common threads connecting Cyberpunk 2077 and the games Kojima has worked on. Transhumanism, irresponsible use of technology, a strange way of telling stories and much more. Death Stranding’s bikes even look a lot like Cyberpunk 2077’s. We can’t wait to see a Hideo Kojima in-game model as well, in case the developers decide to introduce them to the Night City. Of course, Hideo is no stranger to cameos. Death Stranding is full of them, with Kojima, Geoff Keighly, Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Conan O’Brian.
Hideo Kojima is not the first time we see some amazing Cyberpunk 2077 art. In the past few months, several custom artworks appeared in the internet, featuring Geralt, Ciri, Triss and many more in Cyberpunk 2077 style.
