Doubleagent, famous for his pacifist approach in World of Warcraft, managed to reach level 60 by picking millions of herbs.
This specific player ignores all types of violence in the game since the Mists of Pandaria expansion. His character is a Pandaren Monk who has never picked a faction and has never touched a single mob. This time, he managed to hit level cap without even leaving Wandering Isle, the Pandaren starting zone. The fun thing is that he did it in only 17 hours, probably less than it takes a casual player to reach 60.

When asked why he did not left Wandering Isle, Doubleagent responded that he did not want to choose a faction to play. A true pacifist does not wish to reach level 60 only to become a pawn in two military armies responsible for countless deaths in the Warcraft universe. Back in the Legion expansion, Doubleagent spent 8000 in-game hours to reach the 110 while in 2018 he spent 240 hours during the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
For new players, Doubleagent uses a gathering profession, named Herbalism, that allows him to pick up herbs that give him a small experience boost. There is no cap on this “herb” experience, so if you are truly committed to your goal, you can hit max level without ever murdering a single beast.
