According to a leak the new PS5 DualSense controller will have three to four hours longer battery life from DualShock 4.
A Reddit thread, shows a second hand report that lists some bonus information about the DualSense controller and was uploaded accidentaly on the internet. This information was removed really soon from Sony, but the details along with a video of the peripheral, remain.
If the rumours are true, the d-pad and face buttons will be similar to DualShock 4 while the touchpad will be far more responsive. The L1 and R1 buttons will feel more like triggers and the L2, R2 set will be a lot tighter even without the “tension points activated”. There is also light surrounding the touchpad that it will be dimmer than the LED on DualShock 4.
However, the most important rumour is about the battery life. It appears that the PS5 controller will have three to four hours longer battery life than the PS4’s pad. In addition, the controller is apparently “more comfortable than the DualShock 4” and described as “less bulky overall”. Keep in mind that all this PS5 controller information is a leak so take these rumours with a pinch of salt.
