Yesterday, Sony hosted an online event called the Future of Gaming where they gave us some bonus information about their console and announced some of the upcoming PS5 games. if you happened to miss the digital showcase, we will give you a list of the most important PS5 games that Sony announced during the event. Without further ado, let’s get into the list with the most important PS5 confirmed games.

1) Horizon Zero Dawn

It’s perhaps the most obvious of all PlayStation 5 reveals, but Horizon Forbidden West is the latest project from Guerrilla Games, bringing Aloy’s imaginative post-apocalyptic world to Sony’s next-gen console. The trailer shows the heroine embarking on an all-new adventure, filled with robo-dinos and some of the most vibrant grass we’ve ever seen grace a console.

2) Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Well we didn’t see this coming. Sony announced Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales during its PS5 event. It’s simply described as “a new adventure from Insomniac Games”. It’s coming to the next-gen console supposedly at launch, in holiday 2020.

3) Gran Turismo 7

4) Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

The iconic duo of Ratchet and Clank are finally back. Announced during the PS5 reveal event, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a brand new adventure coming to PlayStation 5, and it looks stunning in the debut trailer below

5) Demons Souls Remake

Not many details were announced about the Demon’s Souls remake, but we did get a look at the updated graphics, and Sony confirmed it is being developed by Bluepoint Studios and Japan Studio. According to the video description on YouTube, the Demon’s Souls remake features a new “Fractured Mode.” Players will also be able to choose between two graphics modes in the remake: “one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate.” You can see some awesome screenshots of the game below.

6) Resident Evil Village

After months of rumours and speculation, Capcom lifted the lid on Resident Evil: Village. Yes, that is the official title and it’s coming to PlayStation 5 next year. It represents a major departure for the series with witchcraft, mythical monsters, and more stalkers than ever before.

7) Hitman 3

Another title for our favorite franchise is back. Agent 47 will put his shiny skinhead to use one more time on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 next year, when Hitman 3 concludes the World of Assassination trilogy in January 2021. As with Hitman 2, you’ll be able to port all locations from the previous versions into the threequel, while new missions will involve a skyscraper mission in Dubai.

8) NBA 2K21

Keep in mind that these are not the only games that will arrive for Sony’s next gen console. Some smaller cool titles were also announced and we are going to take a look at them in another article.
