Red Dead Online will finally release as a standalone title on December 1, followed by some small changes to the Bounty Hunter class.
According to Rockstar, the multiplayer version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available to purchase in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and Steam. For more than two months, its special discounted price (-75%) will be set at 4.99$. However, after the 15th of February 2021, its price will return to the original 19.99$.
Keep in mind that Red Dead Online will require at least 123GB of free disk space even as a standalone title. Red Dead Redemption 2 single player mode will not be accessible and players will have to buy it separately if they want to try out the Story Mode. For console users, a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription is required.
Last but not least, the update will introduce ten more Bounty Hunter ranks, some new Bounties and a big Outlaw Pass. In addition, all Bounty Hunter missions will reward players with double exp for this week.
