It looks like that the release date for Resident Evil RE: Verse has been postponed to summer of 2021.

Resident Evil RE: Verse is the multiplayer feature announced alongside Resident Evil Village. According to CAPCOM, it will be free for all the owners of the original game. The company has also released a multiplayer port in the past named Resident Evil Resistance. However, in that case, the multiplayer feature was available during the launch of Resident Evil 3.

According to Resetera, CAPCOM sent an email about the game, explaining that Resident Evil RE: Verse will not release next week. The official website confirms that rumor, stating that the game will arrive sometime this summer. We will update the article as soon as we have more information. We remind you that Resident Evil Village released on May 7 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
