Armakeggon, the most explosive event in Sea of Thieves, went live after three years of preparations.
A group of, obviously, committed players managed to create the biggest chain explosion ever to the popular title. Yesterday, Sea of Thieves streamer Octagon Ron made a tweet, stating that the project codenamed “Armakeggon” was successful and lasted almost 24 hours. According to her, this funny event has been in the works for nearly three years and it took the crew 1500 kegs to form that huge explosion.
After 3 long years, we finally did it. Armakeggon was a SUCCESS YALL. Thanks so much to so many people but I want to especially thank @Rith3r_ for being keg queen for 21 HOURS STRAIGHT. And then a whole day today! And to @CdnHardware for being so organized and patient with me. pic.twitter.com/P5vgzGu5SK

In the stream you can clearly see countless kegs lined up around an island ready to go off at any moment. After the explosion, you may also notice Rare’s logo and a heart created from the barrels. Rith3r, who was also participating in the project, said that many people were involved in this achievement and that they were counting kegs for 23 hours straight before the explosion went live.

Armakeggon may not sound important to you, but it is for sure an amazing feat that impressed even Rare which shared it with the community immediately.
